Working on making Grandma's famous spaghetti and meat balls. Grif decided to help me make the balls.
Grif: What do we do?
Me: Take some of the meat and roll it into a ball. Like play dough. Here, you try.
Grif: I don't know how to do it.
Me: Just roll it around in your hand.
Grif: Okay.
Me: Meat balls Grif, not meat worms.
Grif: But I only know how to make worms!

Photography
This is Mike. He's an editor at McGraw-Hill and a photographer. The last two years, he has come and taken some candid family pictures for us.
Here is a link to his website:
If you click the "Portrait" link at the top, Grif, Leyton and I are in the bottom row (pictures from last year).
He is awesome with the boys.
He even let Griffin use his camera (which made me a little nervous)
Grif loves taking pictures.
Mike took a bunch of pictures and we got some dinner with him after.
On the way home:
Me: Grif, do you want to be a photographer like Mike when you grow up?
Grif: No. I want to be a garbage man.
Grif took this picture of Leyton.

Trick or Treat
Trick or treat started out a little rough this year with Grif refusing to say thank you at the first house. Dad stuck to his guns and refused to let him go on without saying thank you. It took 25 minutes to get past one house. He was crying saying, " I can't say thank you until I stop crying" Hello! You just said it, just say it to them and we'll move on.
Grif (emotional and crying): I don't like to say thank you to people I don't know.
Me: But its okay to take candy from them?
Grif: Yes.
Monkey love.... I have no idea who this girl is, but Leyton was entranced.
Grif pooped out by the end of the night in Leyton's stroller.
The eveing started out a little rough, but ended up being a good time.
