Steph: Griffin, pick something out to wear.
Griffin: Can I wear my yellow cruisers shorts with my batman shirt?
Steph: Honey, that really doesn't match.
Griffin: Mommy, why do I have to match?

Seriously, why do any of us have to match?  Stupid fashion.

As a side note, I've been demoted from having any clothing selection responsibilities for our kids because my choices don't "match".  I guess Griffin comes by it naturally.

Griffin: Daddy says LOTS of bad words.
Steph: Really?  How many?
Griffin: Well...  I think three.
Steph:  Can you tell me what they are?  I won't get mad.
Griffin:  He said, "shut up" and "sucks" and something else.....  Oh!, "knock it off"

Lights Out

So, we (like many Ohioans) are without power for the foreseeable short term. AEP website estimates that 90%of people in our area will have power restored by July 8th at midnight. We've relocated to Vandalia with Steph's parents who are full on retired. 4 not exactly subdued house guests could make for an interesting week. This morning, the boys "slept in" until 8 this morning.

Steph: Griffin, please be quiet. You are shouting and grandma and grandpa are still sleeping.
Grif: well, it's time to get up.
Steph: How do you know it's time to get up?
Grif: Cause we are up.

There are a bunch of trees down in our neighborhood. One was blocking the only entrance to the development Fortunately we don't have any damage.
Some of our neighbors weren't so fortunate. Yes, there is a house under that tree.
