Fossil Dig

We took the boys to the T-Rex cafe at downtown Disney in Orlando.  It was a pretty cool atmosphere although the food left something to be desired and a hefty dent in my wallet.

Outside they had an area setup that the kids could dig in for fossils.

Griffin:  Dad, can I have a friend come over and spend the night?  ALL night?
Me:  Sure, we could do that sometime.  Did you have somebody in mind?
Griffin:  Well, I was thinking maybe Greg could come over and spend the night?

Greg is our next door neighbor.  He works at Chase Bank, is Commisioner of the Granville Little League and has two sons.  One is a sophomore, and the other is in junior high.  He nearly always has a big wad of dip in his lip, and is perpetually in gym shorts and a tee shirt that appear to be older than me.  He's pretty awesome with kids and I can see why Griffin likes him.

I can't get the image of him sleeping the the trundle bed that slides out from under Griffin's bed....
